On Tuesday morning, September 3, 2024, Shas Port received a delegation from the Oman Logistics Center of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, which included Eng. Abdullah Al Busaidi, Director General of the Center, Eng. Awad Al-Sudairy, Assistant Director General of the Center, and their accompanying team.
A presentation was made on the latest developments in Shinas Port, the achievements made in the recent period, and the significant improvements in operations and services provided. The challenges facing the port and future plans to enhance its efficiency and increase its competitiveness were also highlighted.
For their part, the visiting delegation gave a presentation on the nature of the work of the Oman Logistics Center, which aims to implement the logistics strategy for the Sultanate of Oman 2040, which focuses on developing and supporting the logistics sector and enhancing the efficiency of operations, which contributes to raising the level of competitiveness of the Sultanate in this vital sector.
This visit comes within the framework of the ongoing cooperation between various entities to strengthen the logistics sector in Oman and support efforts to achieve the Sultanate’s Vision 2040.
